Community Impact Grant Volunteers Needed!

United Way works hard each year raising money to meet needs, change lives and improve the human condition right here in Champaign County. Once the dollars are raised, we must determine the best ways to allocate those dollars to create measurable impact.

To do this, we need volunteers with a commitment to United Way's community priorities: Education, Health and Financial Stability. Volunteers review the many programs that submit grant requests. These volunteers receive training, read the grant applications, conduct visits and provide guidance to United Way on each program’s strengths, challenges, and outcomes that can truly affect change in this place we call home.

The next Community Impact Grant review cycle will begin in Fall 2017, with volunteer reviews taking place place in winter and spring 2018.

The link above takes you to United Way of Champaign County’s volunteer registration site.  

  1. Scroll down to the bottom half of the page 
  2. Click on ‘create an e-C IMPACT Account’ to apply/register  
  3. Complete the questions
Keep in mind the login and password you create as part of registration will be used throughout the grant funding process.
