The 2007 campaign continues as we look to reach our goal of $3 million. Currently the projection of our final total is a little over $2,990,000. We are hopeful that as campaigns continue to report their progress that it will be just a matter of time until we reach our goal.
We would like to thank all of our CEO’s, ECC's, workplace employees, leadership givers, partners and everyone involved in making this campaign such a success.
We will continue to update you on our progress!

Make a difference through volunteering! Check out the many opportunities in our new community involvement brochure, "Spring Into Action."
United Way of Champaign County depends on the time and talent of individuals who volunteer in our community to make a difference. This is true of all the agencies we work with to meet human care needs. All of them depend on volunteers in one capacity or another to achieve their mission. Thank you to all who give back through volunteering!
National Volunteer Week activities:
Plant Hope a big hit with students and seniors!
On Wednesday, April 30th over 200 local middle students joined forces with United Way, Parkland College, Prairie Gardens and local senior centers. From 10 AM - 12:30 PM students and staff from Edison Middle School, Franklin Middle School and Jefferson Middle School in Champaign, along with Urbana Middle School visited local senior centers to plant hope with flowers, music, games and conversation. Students shared their thoughts at lunch afterward at Hessel Park. "It was fun and the people were very interesting," remarked one student. The seniors enjoyed the morning as well.
