United Way of Champaign County believes strongly in Education. We offer internships that help local college or university students build skills and make an impact on our community!

All UWCC internships are unpaid. If you are interested in interning for credit, you will need to contact your college or department head. UWCC is willing to adjust internships to meet credit requirements.

Summer 2017 Marketing Internship

United Way of Champaign County seeks a Marketing Intern to learn how effective marketing advances a nonprofit’s mission and increases donor and volunteer engagement. United Way is one of the world’s most valuable brands and a leader in the nonprofit industry. The intern will learn to work within brand standards to communicate effectively with diverse communities and across multiple channels.

The intern will assist with marketing campaigns, social media programs and printed marketing pieces. Working directly with the Associate Director of Community Engagement, the intern will help execute the integrated marketing strategy for the organization. The intern will leave with a portfolio of projects they worked on and can share with future employers.
